The Bashenkol structure was first identified in 1960 based on the results of a gravimetric survey in the northwestern part of the Kokzhide sands. In 1961, seismic survey work and geological surveying were carried out at the Bashenkol structure.
Firm Ada Oil LLP was founded on July 5, 2005. The Company's investors were Korea National Oil Corporation, LG International and KERNHEM B.V.
Wells BSK1Х and BSK2Х were drilled in 2006
The Bashenkol field was put into operation in 2009
In 2011, the “Calculation of oil and gas reserves of the Bashenkol fields” was completed and approved
At the end of 2012, the hydrocarbon exploration stage was completed in the Aktobe region
On April 23, 2013, a contract was signed for hydrocarbon production for a period until 2037.
In 2022, the Korean share was purchased by the private company Perfect Capital Group Ltd.
